This is the best outback experience in the Kimberely in Western Australia for several reasons; firstly the Resort caters for DIY travellers,( driving the Gibb River Raod) campsites starting at a very low price/night for excellent facilities toilets/showers/laundry and access to all the facilities offered by the Station including a small shop and tour advice. ElQuestro township which is really a campsite with a shop, pub/restaurant and artist in residence, is a good stopping point for refreshments while you're touring the gorges in the station. We all sat around in the lush oasis in the Kimberely dessert completely mesmerised by this fantastic experience. We were lucky enough to have a friend who brought an ATV on the trip, so we got to explore parts of the station that I wouldn’t take my nice car.
