God's & Generals, and Killer Angels were read in one setting. They are ill-equipped, ill-fed, ill-clad. Highly recommended for both civil war buffs & historical fiction fans. I have told my grandchildren to think about this: they personally knew someone who knew veterans of the Civil War.
