fasting is for me hadith
But with regard to fasting, Allaah connected the reward to Himself without specifying any number. فإِن الصائمَ يكون في الموضِعِ الخالي من الناس مُتمكِّناً منْ تناوُلِ ما حرَّم الله عليه بالصيام ، فلا يتناولُهُ ؛ لأنه يعلم أن له ربّاً يطَّلع عليه في خلوتِه ، وقد حرَّم عَلَيْه ذلك ، فيترُكُه لله خوفاً من عقابه ، ورغبةً في ثوابه ، فمن أجل ذلك شكر اللهُ له هذا الإِخلاصَ ، واختصَّ صيامَه لنفْسِه من بين سَائِرِ أعمالِهِ ولهذا قال : ( يَدعُ شهوتَه وطعامَه من أجْلي ) .This hadeeth points to the virtue of fasting in numerous ways: وتظهرُ فائدةُ هذا الاختصاص يوم القيامَةِ كما قال سَفيانُ بنُ عُييَنة رحمه الله : إِذَا كانَ يومُ القِيَامَةِ يُحاسِبُ الله عبدَهُ ويؤدي ما عَلَيْه مِن المظالمِ مِن سائِر عمله حَتَّى إِذَا لم يبقَ إلاَّ الصومُ يتحملُ اللهُ عنه ما بقي من المظالِم ويُدخله الجنَّةَ بالصوم .The benefit of this singling out will be seen on the Day of Resurrection, as Sufyaan ibn ‘Uyaynah said: When the Day of Resurrection comes, Allaah will bring His slave to account and will settle any scores outstanding from the rest of his deeds, until when there is nothing left but fasting, Allaah will settle the matter and will admit him to Paradise by virtue of his fasting.
Al-Qurtubi said: What this means is that the amount of reward for good deeds may become known to people, and they will be rewarded between ten and seven hundred fold, and as much as Allaah wants, except fasting, for Allaah will reward it without measure. Because of that, Allaah appreciates his sincerity and singled out fasting for Himself from among all other good deeds. Password should contain small, capital letter and at least 8 characters long “All the actions by the son of Adam are for him, except fasting for verily it is for Me and I shall reward for it.” This hadith contains the great virtue of fasting, and its great merit in comparison with the other deeds. Ramadan Hadith: The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, “He who fasts has two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. “Allah said, ‘All the deeds of Adam’s sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.’ Fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins.
You can ask your question on the website via this link: So the reward of the one who fasts will be very great, without reckoning. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the breath coming from the mouth of a … Hence He said in the hadeeth, “He gives up his desire for My sake.” Ibn al-Jawzi said: All acts of worship can be seen when done, and they may be contaminated with some element of showing off, unlike fasting.
Allaah is the most generous of those who are generous, and the gift reflects the generosity of the giver.
May Allaah bless you.هذا حديث عظيم وثابت عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فيما يرويه عن ربه عز وجل، أنه قال: «كل عمل ابن آدم له إلا الصوم فإنه لي وأنا أجزي به» ،This is a great hadith and it has been established that the Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, has narrated this hadith from his Lord the Mighty and Exalted. Fasting is a shield. This is like the verse in which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Only those who are patient shall receive their reward in full, without reckoning”3 – That what is meant by “fasting is for Me” is that it is the dearest of acts of worship to Me. So whoever follows their footsteps and continues upon their methodology then he is a Salafi.
It is (exclusively) meant for Me and I (alone) will reward it. Fasting is a shield, so when one of you fasts, he may not be obscene or boisterous. Therefore fasting is exclusively only for Allah the Mighty and Majestic, so for this reason the meaning of His statement,“Fasting is for Me and I shall reward for it” means that shirk is not associated with fasting because the pagans did not use it as a way to seek closeness to their idols but rather fasting is only used to get close to Allah. ""Indeed the Jamaah as-Salafeeyah is the one which is upon the truth, and it is the one that it is obligatory to ascribe to, and act and attribute to, and whichever Jama’aat (parties) is upon other than Jama’ah as-Salafeeyah then do not regard them as Jama’aat of Dawah"Allaah said: ‘Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I shall reward for it…’ (Allah says about the fasting person), ‘He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. Al-Nasaa’i (2220) narrated that Abu Umaamah said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “You should fast, for there is nothing like it.” Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Nasaa’i. 2 – Allaah said concerning fasting: “I shall reward him for it.” So he connected the reward for fasting to Himself, because the reward for righteous deeds is mentioned by number, and a good deed will be rewarded between ten and seven hundred fold, many times.
